Automatic connector 40 (threaded sleeve) – fast internal connection for 40-series aluminium profiles (slot 8)

The Automatic connector 40 is a compact threaded sleeve designed to connect two 40-series aluminium T-slot profiles with 8 mm slot quickly and securely—typically in a 90° joint (e.g., 4040, 4080 or 8080 at right angles). With its self-cutting thread, it creates a strong internal connection and keeps the outside of your construction clean and professional.

This connector is compatible with common 40-series slot 8 standards such as ITEM, ISB, ISP and I-Type, ensuring seamless integration with widely used European profile systems.

Important: connector sleeve only (connection kit required)

This product is the threaded sleeve only. To make a complete connection, you also need:

• Hexagon socket head cap screw ISO 4762 M6x40
• And one of the following nuts:
  • Roll-in T-slot nut, 40-series M6
  • Hammer nut, T-slot 8 M6

Installation notes (important)

• Left-hand thread (counterclockwise): this threaded sleeve has a left-hand thread. Install it by turning counterclockwise—opposite to how you would normally fasten a connector.
• Insert orientation: the side with the hole must go into the profile first.
