Automatic connector 30 (threaded sleeve) – fast internal connection for 30-series aluminium profiles

The Automatic connector 30 is a compact threaded sleeve designed to connect two 30-series aluminium T-slot profiles quickly and securely—typically in a 90° joint (e.g., 3030 to 3030 or 3030 to 3060). Thanks to its self-cutting thread, you can build strong internal connections with a clean exterior finish.

Because it is compatible with 30 series profiles, it is also fully compatible with BSB, BSP, B-Type and Bosch profile systems—ensuring seamless integration with leading European standards.

Important: connector sleeve only (connection kit required)

This product is the threaded sleeve only. To make a complete connection, you also need:

• Hexagon socket head cap screw ISO 4762 M5x35
• And one of the following nuts:
  • Hammer nut, T-slot 8 M5
  • Roll-in T-slot nut, 30-series M5

Installation notes (important)

• Counterclockwise thread: this threaded sleeve has a left-hand (counterclockwise) thread. Install it by turning counterclockwise—opposite to how you would normally fasten a connector.
• Insert orientation: the side with the hole must go into the profile first.

How the connection works (overview)

1. Insert the Automatic connector 30 into the profile end as intended for the joint, with the hole-side first.
2. Turn the sleeve counterclockwise to install it (left-hand thread).
3. Use the ISO 4762 M5x35 screw together with either a hammer nut or a roll-in T-slot nut to clamp the profiles together.
4. Tighten until the joint is firmly secured.
